Praise The Lord! By T.L. Wiens

Last year I watched my second oldest brother go from a vibrant talented man to a shadow of his former self. Doctors did tests. The final diagnosis-a heart condition with no treatment. No chance of survival.

Last week, my brother returned to the doctor. They did more tests. This time his heart was fine. No sign of the issues that had my brother so weak he couldn't walk across a room.

I saw my brother on the stage playing his guitar, his voice once again strong enough to perform, singing God's praises.

I know this isn't specifically writing related but please join me as my family and I bow our heads and hearts in praise and adoration for Jesus Christ, Lord, Saviour, Healer!

  1. We rejoice with you at such good news about your beloved brother and thank Jesus for healing him.

  2. I LOVE this and am so glad you shared this with us. Our God is a God of miracles and all we can do is give ALL thanks to HIM!

  3. May this miracle proclaim the name of Jesus near and far! Praising him along with you and your friends and family. What an amazing event to witness, and want an awesome God we have.

  4. God is awesome. It's almost hard to change direction. We've spent a year not knowing if this would be the day the phone would ring with the news he was gone. I'm so glad he's spent this last year growing his relationship with Jesus. I know the people around him will know this is from God. Doctors can't do this.

  5. This is wonderful, Tammy! Praise the Lord.

  6. Funny thing T. L.:
When I've had an instance of healing, it seemed so natural, I started questioning whether I had really been sick!
Your brother's healing is a marvelous reminder that what we crave here will be natural in the life to come.

  7. What a wonderful story, Tammy. Yes, right now I will add a word of praise and thanksgiving to God for healing your brother--body, soul and spirit. Amen.

  8. Oh the blessing! I am moved to tears hearing this beautiful story. May you enjoy many more years with your brother, hearing him sing! Praise the Lord!
