I have been blessed with a family who loves Christmas. It holds many special memories for me. When I got married, I found a family with many different traditions. It wasn't a warm special time. It was simply a time to open a gift and eat a meal.
When I first read "Christmas Chaos" my eyes were opened to many different ways to see and experience Christmas.
This is a season to not only remember the birth of Jesus Christ but His purpose. Spread His love to all. I hope this year we can all find the time to help bring His joy to those around us during this season.

I will have to look this book up. I have never heard of it before.
ReplyDeleteI found it really hard the first couple Christmases we were married. They were such lovely in-laws but they had different traditions and I really missed our own special games, food, prayers, etc. Funny how we get so set.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tammy, for sharing your thoughts and experience. You've made me curious about the book you mention too. I appreciate your conclusion: "I hope this year we can all find the time to help bring His joy to those around us during this season." Blessings at Christmas for you and our loved ones, Tammy.
