In fact, I'd definitely prefer that to being outside and shovelling snow, for example. I too am looking forward to spring and summer. On the other hand, I do like the four definite seasons we are privileged to experience in our part of the world.

Right now, however, I'm chuckling at how much I grasp and identify with what each of you are saying on this topic of an Artist's Date. Am I so gullible that I agree with everything and everybody? No, I don't think so, but all of you are such good writers who write with passion. Sharing the same faith, the same desire to write, to find balance in our lives, and to speak our own individual truth, we have a lot in common.

I enjoyed your post, Vickie, and I really identified with you. You paint a beautiful picture of this season, though, from behind the glass. Winters here can be long and cold and I'm also an 'indoor' winter person. It's not always easy is it? But I so enjoyed your descriptions of a season that can seem otherwise barren but in reality has beauty of it's own. I also couldn't help but think of how it's only by experiencing winter that we truly appreciate spring...almost feel sorry for countries that don't have cold (almost!). You write beautifully...even in winter ;)Gloria Lynn Guesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14144091313075005581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-41389535567726043192015-02-25T10:10:38.809-07:002015-02-25T10:10:38.809-07:00Your descriptions of the sparkling snow, the barre...Your descriptions of the sparkling snow, the barren tress, and more were beautiful - whether you like winter or not!Tracy Krausshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05066853243062725525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-27224842003813198002015-02-25T05:13:28.922-07:002015-02-25T05:13:28.922-07:00I'm with you, Vickie! I actually do more writing in the winter because I'm not distracted by the summer's availability of so many Artist's Dates. I all comes down to balance, I guess.
