I thought I had gotten past that. I think it still is easier for us to feel valued when we are productive. Thanks for putting this out so well. I am happy for you, Tracy, that you are finding contentment and ways to relax. Even though you have, no doubt, enjoyed each phase and challenge of your career, you have worked hard and given each season your best shot.

Sometimes God has to give each of us a wake-up call to get our attention and let us know that we are "human beings" rather than "human doings." My wake-up call twenty plus years ago came as a package called "major depression."

I appreciate your saying in conclusion that the central focus of your new season is listening to God’s call to “just ‘be.’” During this past year, I have read/devoured/savoured Wayne Muller’s book: “a life of being, having, and doing enough.” You see, I am also learning to lean in and listen and to make adjustments as required. This too is a season of creativity.

Continued blessings, my InScribe friend!

Sharon Espesethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13013272853384312117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-68745430344514724302019-09-15T08:03:17.705-07:002019-09-15T08:03:17.705-07:00Hi Tracy! After years of working, raising chidren, and other beautiful and important times in life, embrace your current season. Even being "busy" can cause us to miss the just "being" of contentment. Take time to breathe in life, love and a focus on eternity. :)Alan Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01192838076987472527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-58287863214496232812019-09-15T07:45:13.406-07:002019-09-15T07:45:13.406-07:00Thanks Brenda.
