It hangs in my office at work. Even though life is much calmer, it continues to be one of my go-to scriptures!Bobbi Juniorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16366421883424533929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-80379639218995130032015-08-15T20:05:07.136-07:002015-08-15T20:05:07.136-07:00Bobbi, I love how you have a way of always putting...Bobbi, I love how you have a way of always putting things in perspective.....but God! I am ...Thanks for giving us lots to chew on, Bobbi. I am sure God knew we would have anxious moments; he foresaw that there would be days when we had too much to do. Life wouldn't always be as idyllic as it first was in the Garden of Eden. That's why he has it written so frequently in the Bible, "Don't be afraid."

Here is one of my all-time favourite verses, and I am sure I have used this for writing deadlines too. Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (NIV) We can pray about those impending "due dates," and then with that peace in our hearts, we may find that our brain will thaw out so it can go to work again.
Sharon Espesethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13013272853384312117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-19299651928604672762015-08-15T06:34:06.292-07:002015-08-15T06:34:06.292-07:00It does wear us down, Glynis. We ARE beloved by God and that IS our true self! If we wait upon the Lord, then our words (mind, body, spirit) will be renewed. That's why it says that in the Bible. This is the true self. Every other identity is illusion.”
― Brennan Manning, Abba's Child: The Cry of the Heart for Intimate Belonging Connie Mae Inglishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988103819012472275noreply@blogger.com
