It's not only wonderful that the Holy Spirit grants us the gift of writing, but that He sticks around to be our faithful mentor. Although we often struggle to find just the right words, He always ensures that our writing reaches readers' hearts with the message of God's love and grace.Nina Moreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10655605167987512020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-76459723181993807212017-02-18T16:11:41.115-07:002017-02-18T16:11:41.115-07:00Well said, Nina. One front is that your blog helps me decide that I too am more of a pantser than an outliner/plotter. I also recognize the evaporation of time when I am labouring over a difficult piece. I look at my notes and I listen for guidance. I search for the best way to express how I know God is working in my life, in the hopes that what I write will touch the hearts, or teach the lessons, that particular readers may need to further their own faith.

I too appreciate that you are now a regular contributor on our InScribe blog, Nina.Sharon Espesethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13013272853384312117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-14829650099081099042017-02-16T10:18:29.203-07:002017-02-16T10:18:29.203-07:00Yes, Brenda, it's great to know that we don...Yes, Brenda, it's great to know that we don't need to rely solely on our own wisdom, but we can trust in the Lord to give us guidance.Nina Moreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10655605167987512020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37258556.post-3805543560298474732017-02-16T10:16:17.335-07:002017-02-16T10:16:17.335-07:00Thanks, Tracy! Your words resonate!

Your comment about being unaware of time passing not just when you write on a topic that’s lighthearted or joyful, but it "also occurs when I feel drawn to my computer to tap out a piece on a troublesome or traumatic topic." I find myself listening especially closely to His voice and nudges when working on a hard or troublesome piece, because, of course, the need for the right words and ways to express that topic feel especially important.

Thank you!
